You know how we are always saying, on the one hand put your pup in a pen of some sort and on the other hand we tell of how cairns can climb - well I just saw this on YouTube.

This little guy is climbing out and is so young his ears aren't even up yet!

We had a litter in a playground on the living room with a sheet over the top for containment. We came home one day to find a puppy pooplet *outside* the pen and all three pups inside as we'd left them. There was one corner of the sheet that was pulled away from the corner of the expen. Did one of the little rascals climb out, play around, then climb back in? Man I wish we had a "nanny cam" to have seen that one.

Reminds me of our determined pooch when he was a pup. We had a thick wooden board a little over three feet tall blocking off the kitchen to keep him on the linoleum. Somehow that six month old stinker got over that every time we left him. I'm not sure how he got over a piece of solid wood that tall! There wasn't anything leaning against it that he could climb up onto. He had to have gotten a running start to jump that.

Love it! We actually had to put a "roof" on Jocks x pen when he was a puppy. He would jump on the roof of his crate and launch himself out. The youngster in this video is amazing,while his sibling isn't following...makes you wonder how the monkey will turn out as an adult Cairn .. A young hairy Houdini .
