Especially given its a JR? Wow, they must have been raised together. I am afraid that Jock would have as would Rosie have Magpie sushi before one could say snack time.

That's not the type of Magpie we have out here--colored differently and definitely not as wary as our Magpies.  The Magpie is one of the most intelligent birds in nature--if you watch them long enough they are quite impressive but I cannot imagine one of the local variety letting an animal rough it up like the one in the video--which I suspect is a pet of some sort (wasn't even frightened of the human).  Still this is a great video and both of the combatants look like they are really enjoying the wrestling match.

That was so surprising connection and so interesting play time between a cute doggie and playful magpie, they must be great buddies already.

To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace!
