This is what I just love about Cairns!!  They can have buddies of all kinds.  These two are usually play fighting...our door open but screen door bungied close (they get kinda rough) is their TV!!!  Just a small note....such a lovely day!!

I really like this.  I wish our dogs were less aggressive with cats--I know they would have fun playing together, roughhousing, but unfortunately cats are seen as prey and treated accordingly.

Oh, Idaho.......IF I did not watch them carefully...would have MORE kitty fur in house than I do now!!  Betsy gets a hold of his neck or cheeck and PUUUUULLLLS!!!!  The cat never udders a sound....then once Betsy tries to get a better grip, he pulls away gives a swat and GAME ON!!!!  They start running through the house!!  Sasha (aka kitty) gets on his "homemade condo" (about 2 feet tall- just enough that Betsy can stretch to top and put head over to try and tug kitty off condo...but she still does not have the confidence to try and jump on condo to "knock" kitty off!!) and turns to swat at Betsy head.

Try to understand that Sasha has his claws (ALL his claws), we trim his with a nail clipper..so that he can't really hurt Betsy.  And Betsy is watched for the "Cairn Jerk"!!!  Y'all know the "Cairn Jerk"....shake their prey till dead!

Best part of their play is when Sasha is on his back and Betsy is darting at him with nips.....such a hoot these two!!
