Are there any trainers on Long Island with experience training CTs? My CT is a 6-month old male. This is my first dog and I could use some guidance and help.

I can't help you with Long Island. I do know Petsmart offers training and perhaps you have them in your area. Also some of the Petsmart trainers know of other training opportunities.
