Guest
Our beautiful and enegetic six month old Cairn puppy, Lucy, was just diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Our vet is recommending surgery very soon because of her increasing discomfort. Can anyone give me some insight into great surgeons in the Washington, DC area, and the operation itself. We are sick about the prospect of our puppy going through surgery, but more concerned about the success of such an operation. Any information on this topic would help greatly. Thank you, Betsy
bradl
I don't have any info myself. The CTCA web page on Health-Related Concerns (www.cairnterrier.org/reboot/health.html) lists a number of resource contacts. Among them: Dr. Kydee Sheetz at ksheetz@smdc.org for bone diseases Maybe she can point in you in the direction of helpful resources. Best wishes to you and Lucy. CAIRNTALK: Questions?
