Our little Cairn 'Oscar Frank Blake' won the Blue Ribbon at the (Annual) Caputa, SD Fall Festival in the Small Dog category. Please excuse his behavior in the picture as he's relishing his victory in Good Dog Fashion; VBG :D Of course there were only five entries and one ran off when being evaluated, LOL..

Chuckle, it's a very small event with only about 100 people living in the town and 200 or so showing up for the festivities. Even the prize ribbons were the leftovers from Rapid City's Central States Fair in Rapid City, :)

I can tell you as a matter of fact, we love living in rural America. :) FWIW, Oscar watches The Wizard of Oz with us every year...

Sorry I'm behind the times but I just saw this post. Oscar is hilarious, showing exactly the amount of reverence I'd expect from a Cairn after winning such a prestigious event.
