Rules Clarified - advertising ban includes fund-raising

Forum rules have been edited to make it clear that fund-raising is - as it always has been - prohibited under the general category of advertising.

The only exceptions are these:

• Advertising and fund-raising projects of the Cairn Terrier Club of America or its affiliated clubs
• Projects or programs to offset the operational costs of CairnTalk.net 

There are many worthy causes - some of them directly affecting Cairn Terriers - therefore this advertising prohibition is in no way an assessment of the validity or worth of any particular project, past, present, or future. Such activities simply fall outside the scope of activity for which the forum is maintained.
