DyDy
Brogan is 7 months old and getting ready for his first grooming session at the groomers(who is the owner of the spa). I've known my groomer for 13 years as she used to groom my 'beloved' westie who passed away this past fall. Anyway, she met Brogan and I told her I wanted to have him hand-stripped and not scissor cut. She said her hands are such a mess (arthritis/sugar thumb) that she cannot hand strip anymore and her groomers do not know how. She did show me how to do this and I was wondering if anyone else hand strips? - I know he should have the top 1/3 of his ears scissor trimmed -just wondering about the rest? Thanks for any advice/tips/help! Brogan's Mama.....

Judging from my scruffy doggies, I don't do such a good job! Jandy and my Cairns, Kirby & Phinney
sanford
I admire and envy anyone who "attempts" to hand-strip at home. My cairn simply won't tolerate my doing it, yet the groomer says he's an angel! Go figure! FEAR THE CAIRN!
