Teething Problems

Recommended Posts

We got up this morning and Nicky, our 4 1/2 month Cairn; was not himself at all. He just wanted to lay around and wined once in a while. It is Sunday but we called our vet and he said that if we wanted to, bring him in for a check-up. And we took Nicky in to see him, because our puppy was so weak.

The vet. took his temp. and said that it was in the upper limits of normal. He gave him a basic exam and said that everything was basically alright,

except he showed us the large teeth, (canine teeth, the long teeth on top and bottom of the mouth) were coming in. He also cleaned his penal gland as it was filled. He sent home some pain medicine with us.

What has been the other forum members experinece with their Cairn Terriers teething? Would appreciate input.
