Any Training places in NY?

Hi everyone,

I posted here a few months ago, when I watched my sisters cairn for awhile.

Now he is coming back again for about 8 weeks.

I believe he is about 8 months old...the problem is, I think he is getting to be a VERY big hand full, so I decided to get him some training.

When I worked out in NJ, there was a PetSmart which had a training area.

But the only PetSmart I know of in NY (its in LI, I am in Queens) does not have a training area.

Does anyone know of a training place in NY, preferably Queens or LI.

I was curious about this as well. Any sites with listings of training places for terriers or cairns specifically by region?

I don't know if the trainer we used would know of any trainers in other states but if you'd like to e-mail him, here is his website.

Our vet recommended him; perhaps your vets would know of someone?

We did the Petsmart training and wasn't pleased with it. The main reason is that you are in a huge store, right in the middle, with little kids screaming and yelling and everyone standing around the ring while you are trying to teach the dogs. It's not a productive atmosphere. IMHO
