Harley, after 1st surgery

The vet thought he had a torn ACL and performed surgery to fix. It wasn't until they got in there that they discovered the ACL was intact. Then, after comparing the post operative X-ray with the previously one the vet started suspecting bone cancer. They took his leg about two weeks ago. :(

He seems better. The prognosis isn't good for bone cancer but at least he is feeling okay for the time being. Just trying to soak up time with him while we have it. I knew BMDs had a terrible average lifespan, but still wasn't expecting this right after his 6th birthday...
