Nikki and his pitbull girl friend

Whenever I have to travel to someplace that does not allow dogs, I leave Nikki with a church friend who lives a block away. Nikki settles into their routine, doing whatever is expected of him. He used to play with Poco all the time, but now that they are both older and she has arthritis in her feet, they just tolerate each other and take bones from each other. As you can tell from the date, and the amount of black hair on Nikki's ears and muzzle, this was taken a while ago, but both are still beautiful pals.
