Years later on this post. But I just rescued a young dog that is daphnes twin but lighter colored coat. I thought border terrier immediately but has a curly tail so maybe pug mixed in there. Coat looks similar but Is soft. He is a strong ratter and killed every rat in my yard (I have a field behind me). He has longer legs than a Cairn or pug and is very fast runner. I think yours and mine has some mix of border-pug-cairn. He (Bandit) also has a long body but no way any dachshund in him
