I swapped out the wheat flour for Quinoa flour, added one tablespoon of ground flax. The dogs love them. I made them using a small round cookie cutter , rolled them fairly thin and kept an eye on them while on the oven. They turn out like little hard disks and store really well.
Procedure
I am cheating by adding an attachment of the recipe.
Notes, Options, Substitutions
Making little disk was to much work. I now just roll the dough out till it’s about 1/4” thick or thinner, cut it into strips and bake. I just break off chunks when cooled. They store great and I do change the kinds of flour on occasion. Being totally untrustworthy of any commercial treats and what goes into them, I feel as long as I use ingredients that I would eat and are safe for dogs all is good.
