The Photo Contest software needs an update — past contests are not closing out (sending out winner notifications, closing entries to completed contests, archiving ended contests, etc.). I appreciate your patience until the software is updated by the new maintainer. The alternative is to simply remove photo contests altogether; I'm reluctant to take that step just yet. I will reevaluate in the new year.
