Turkey TalkThanksgiving Day Chat. No special time, just check in during the day if you have any 'down time' and see if you can catch a Cairn Talk'er in the live chat. A few observations about chat:
Chat only works for registered - and logged in - Cairn Talk members. Registration is fast, easy, and free. If you are logged in to CTF (Cairn Talk Forum) you will automatically be logged into the chat after clicking the Live Chat link. Be patient, it sometimes takes a few seconds for the chat to load and the login process to complete. If there are people listed as present in the chat window when you arrive, and they don't answer you, they are probably just away from the computer but still logged in. Give them a few minutes to come back. Tip - to leave a chat, just click the little 'door' icon below the chat window. Tip - to turn on audible notification during chat, type the following into the text box and then hit return: /beepall - if your speakers are turned up, you will then hear a blip if someone types something into the chat. I often use this to alert me if I'm near the computer but not looking at it. Enjoy chat - don't get stressed out if you don't understand all the buttons and options - simply ignore them. Just type into the box and hit return. It can be as simple as that. You may find the Help Page helpful.
