Saturday March 14, 2015, 10:00 am—4:00 pm.

Presented by the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Club

Whether your cairn needs to get ready for the show ring or wants to be tidier between trips to the groomer, this seminar is for you!

Some of the Club’s most experienced groomers will present a seminar on Cairn grooming: tips and techniques, use of equipment, for show or for pet, and provide other resources to help you learn or improve your grooming skills.

Bring your dog, chair, grooming table, and your tools! Or let us know what you need and we'll arrange to provide loaners for the clinic.

We will have an informative day with presentations in the morning, a break for a chili or vegetable soup lunch with all the fixings, and individual hands on help from all of the grooming presenters on your own dog in the afternoon.

Cost: $30 per attendee (includes lunch). See form attached or register online. Registration deadline March 7.

I saw this topic and interpreted "Grooming Clinic - Battle Ground" as meaning grooming a Cairn is like being on a battleground. Good grief, that was one of my blondest moments ever.  :)

Don't be hard on yourself … that same thought occurred to me somewhat worryingly as I was creating the entry. Interestingly — and fortunately for this metaphor — the city of Battle Ground was named ironically, for a battle that was expected but never took place!  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_Ground,_Washington
