As part of the roving national specialty weekend, the Foundation of the CTCA is hosting a research update on ocular melanosis, along with screening.
Thursday, July 22, Roving Host Hotel (Red Lion on the River, Jantzen Beach Oregon).
At 5:00 PM Dr. Simon Petersen-Jones will provide an Ocular Melanosis Research Update. Dr. Petersen-Jones will also do free eye exams/screenings for OM on Thursday afternoon and evening. This is a rare opportunity to have the leading researcher for OM examine your Cairns to determine their status. Older dogs are especially vulnerable, and you are encouraged to bring as many as possible.
