August Health Education Program (and club meeting)Dr. Michael Salewski, DVM: Performance, Function and theUse of Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine for Canine Injuriesand Aging Stresspoints
This presentation will focus on the treatment of performance injuries of canines through the use of alternative medicinesand pain management. Chiropractic principles, coupled with acupuncture techniques, and Chinese herbal medicines will be discussed as they apply to the treatment of performance injuries as well as physical stresses as dogs age. Dr. Michael Salewski, DVM, is a specialist in the area of alternative medicine, focusing on chiropractic and Chinese medicine, and the coauthor of the Clinical Handbook of Chinese Veterinary Herbal Medicine.
Presented at the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Club meeting August 5 @ 7pm, New Seasons Market, Community room, Sunnyside Rd., Happy Valley.
