Murdo
Hello to everyone. I haven't been around for several years but there are many of you I remember fondly. We are doggless now and it's very lonely. Murdo, at age 12 died in 2004 of stomach cancer. So many of you sent such heartwarming and comforting messages to us....thank you again. Geordie crossed the Rainbow Bridge last September just before we were due to leave Washington state and return to Ohio. He was 16 years. We are confused now and struggling to figure out what to do each day and when to do it since our two guides are both gone. You all know what I mean. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I'll be around to listen in.

bradl
It's so good to see you again Beth Ann. Whenever I think of the concept of virtual Cairn community - I can't help but think of Internet Early Times and of you and David and Murdo and Geordie. I hope you and David are otherwise well, and may Geordie and Murdo live forever at ease in your memories. They live on in mine as well. I have to say that my love of Cairns may have been born as a wee bundle of fur named Barley, but my love of online Cairn talk was born in the days when a small band of Cairn lovers from Terrier-L let me join in. I can only hope that the spirit and the camaraderie of those days lives on in new and varied platforms. Cheers to you and to all good Cairns, past, present, and future. CAIRNTALK: Questions? Murdo
Good Morning. Hello to all but bradl. Thank you for your kind thoughts and warm welcomes. We will not remain dogless forever, I'm certain. We have a lot of adjusting to do after 7 moves in one year plus the loss of Geordie. We just need a bit of time. But thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. Murdo
And now to Bradl. Big hugs and slurpy kisses to you and Peggy. Thank you for commenting on my post. It's so good to hear from you again. I've been absent for too long. You always were a great writer and I really appreciate your kind thoughts and happy memories. Yes, the "old" days were really cool. You could really get to know someone by conversing on the old lists. I must say this new forum is also very cool but I'm too much of an Old Timer. I will have to study up a bit. :-). All those emoticons....too bad they are yellow and round, they should be furry with stand-up ears and whiskers. Then they would *really* show emotion. Thanks Brad for the sweet welcome. You're the for sure! We'll have to sometime and get caught up.
