Stripping and Skin

Jeannie

Recommended Posts

I've looked over the information on stripping and skin problems that Brad1 provided--thank you. It's distressing, though, to think that I might have contributed to some of Ethan's itchiness (not all of it--he definitely had flea allergies, too) by not stripping his coat. Do most terriers require stripping? I loved Ethan's soft coat.

Can someone explain to me how to insert a picture? I'm not a computer dummy, but I can't figure it out. I tried the UPLOAD button, but then I couldn't see where the picture went.

Sorry, can't help you with the uploading.

Most double-coated, nonshedding dogs with hard outer coats are stripped when properly groomed; not only terriers. Schnauzers, daschunds, etc.

There are sites where you can upload your photos & re-size them, and then you can copy & paste them from that site to your post on the forum. I use PHOTOBUCKET, it's free and I haven't had any problems with it. If you decide to try it and have any problems, send me a message and I'll see if I can help you out.

Flickr appears to use dynamic URLs, which are not supported on this board for security reasons. To display an image in the post itself your options are a host that provides a simple URL path that ends in .jpg (or similar image file extension), as described in Inserting Pictures into Posts topic, or a file attachment.
