Sam I Am
Well we are still waiting on a few lists for a Cairn pup. Its agony! Jock is alone since our Scottie died and I feel so sorry for him. He would love a play mate I am sure.... when he sees his girlfriend down the block (a little westie) he is beside himself. When I leave in the morning and see that little face look up at me, I feel absolutely guilt ridden. We did get a call from a Scottie breeder who does have a little girl for us if we want, but after much serious thinking my husband and I just cannot go through the heartache again of possibly owning a Scottie that wont be with us very long. Just to many health issues. So it was with much saddness that we had to decline. Cairns pups are far and few between in this part of the world it seems so I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will soon get a call, an email.... or something! shellj2323
Have you looked at Colonel Potter Cairn Rescue? They have dogs in Canada and place them there too, I believe. You might be able to find the perfect little companion for Jock! Shelley, Angus and Mickey in Seattle
tlwtheq
Have you looked at Colonel Potter Cairn Rescue? They have dogs in Canada and place them there too, I believe. You might be able to find the perfect little companion for Jock! Just note that although Col. Potter is above reproach as far as their mores and goals, they're not an organization you want to use if you're in a hurry (personal experience.) That being said, hope you get a new baby and companion for Jock soon. Tara P.S. - just so you know I'm not an impatient fool, I define "in a hurry" as wanting a new family member in less than 3-4 months. And be aware they prefer to pick your pup for you rather than you picking your pup for you. Max and Nelly

Sam I Am
Lucky you irusty! I am jealous I know with our last two dogs we were "interviewed" which actually I am really pleased about. A good breeder is worth their weight in gold and its good to know that they are concerned that their pups go to a good home. Patience is a virtue so they say.... one I lack! bradl
Nope. You can empty a post by editing out all content, but you can't delete either a post or a topic. I set it this way to preserve a chain of accountability. The two-hour window is meant for correcting typos, broken formatting, etc. As "kennel help" I do clean up by deleting obvious double-posts, empty posts, etc as I come across them.
