Senior Versatility Cairn

In 2008, Kona earned the Cascade Cairn Terrier Club's "Senior Versatility Cairn" award for 2008. He is the second club Cairn to earn this award that was established in 2000.

Versatility Cairn is earned when the dog earns an AKC Championship, and at least two AKC performance title in areas such as obedience, rally obedience, tracking, earthdog or agility.

The "Senior Versatility Cairn" requires 2 Championships, and two "advanced" level performance titles.

In 2009, we hope to earn the club's "Master Versatility Cairn" which requires 3 Championships, and two "excellent or master" level performance titles. (He is one performance title away!)

The club trophy is a traveling silver cup. Versatility winners names are engraved on the base of the trophy. Senior and Master Versatility Cairn's names are engraved on the side of the cup.

Kona shares the distinction of being a Versatility Cairn with many fine NW Cairn Terriers and breeders/owners who are committed to maintaining and enhancing conformationally correct working Cairn Terriers.
