Posted December 24, 200816 yr a friend sent me this Picture Is this a cairn? I think it is but it doesn't have the dark points so I wasn't sure. its adorable either way but I was just wondering Dogs' lives are too short. Their only fault, really." - Carlotta Monterey O'Neill
December 24, 200816 yr It's definitely a Cairn, not all Cairns have dark points. My sister had a Cairn that was a very light wheaten (light blond) with no dark points and no brindling. He stayed the same color his entire life.
December 24, 200816 yr kinda looks like Skipper, Skip started losing his black mussle after about a year old, Im no expert but id say that was a Cairn Edited December 24, 200816 yr by boats85
December 24, 200816 yr Sugar is light like that red/wheaten at times her muzzle has darken but it lightens. Seems as she gets older it is a bit lighter than when she was a pup Liz Rebel, Hammurabi, Sugar, Dirty Harry, Paint, Duncan and Saffron

December 24, 200816 yr S/he's got bagpipes. What more evidence do you need? A 12-year old whiskey would do it for me!
December 25, 200816 yr S/he's got bagpipes. What more evidence do you need? Looking at the pictue, I guess it's true...they Don't wear anything under thier kilt's LOL. We used to tease my Dad about that as he played the bagpipes. Looks all Cairn to me. Edited December 25, 200816 yr by rtherapy60 If you want the best seat in the house, move the dog.
