Nikki
a friend sent me this Picture Is this a cairn? I think it is but it doesn't have the dark points so I wasn't sure. its adorable either way but I was just wondering Dogs' lives are too short. Cairnmania
It's definitely a Cairn, not all Cairns have dark points. My sister had a Cairn that was a very light wheaten (light blond) with no dark points and no brindling. He stayed the same color his entire life. boats85
kinda looks like Skipper, Skip started losing his black mussle after about a year old, Im no expert but id say that was a Cairn
hallswel
Sugar is light like that red/wheaten at times her muzzle has darken but it lightens. Seems as she gets older it is a bit lighter than when she was a pup Liz Rebel, Hammurabi, Sugar, Dirty Harry, Paint, Duncan and Saffron

Looking at the pictue, I guess it's true...they Don't wear anything under thier kilt's LOL. We used to tease my Dad about that as he played the bagpipes. Looks all Cairn to me. Nikki
yes scotty does have dark points(on his ears and tail anyways..his muzzle is more like grey) but i guess it s hard to see in pictures b/c his one ear is floppy and the other is half way up Dogs' lives are too short.
