Posted October 7, 200816 yr I was just wondering what the best way is to go about introducing Zoey to an Airedale my parents and I have. Since I brought Zoey home, if she's at the sliding glass door he just stands there and barks at her. It's not a mean bark, but more like an "I want to play" bark. With my Siberian Husky Mischa I just held Zoey while she sniffed of her, then she layed down and wanted Zoey to lay with her. They've had a few more meetings since and in a little more time I plan on letting them get to know each other a bit better and not holding on to Zoey as closely as I have been. I'm just wondering how to do a face to face meeting with her and Jake the Airedale and what percautions I should take. Jake is probably around a year old (we're not sure because we picked him up as a stray) and still kind of in the puppy stage wanting to nibble on things and he's huge. I don't think he'd hurt her purposely, but where he's so big and thinks he's still a baby he may do it on accident. Does anyone have any suggestions?
