We brought Scooter for a hike today, we did about 3.5 miles He loves it so much and so do I; there are always such nice views at that end. It makes the climb well worth it at the end. This is about 2500 feet.

I wish FL wasn't such a flat state! Oscar hasn't ever been on a mountain, the highest elevation he's reached is the second floor to my house!

What a great view! Of all the places we've visited I think New Hampshire is the prettiest, we really enjoyed hiking there, I would love to spend more time there if only it wasn't so cold....

NH is so beautiful, Scooter (and I) are so lucky to live so close to all of these places. He loves going hiking, he just trucks along. When I think he is tired and I sit for him to rest he just stands as far as the retractable leash goes looking back at me, if he could talk he's say "Ok, lets go. Hurry hurry, why are we stopping?"

It does get cold here but thats what we have skis and snow shoes for...

That is why i cannot bring Sadie. Scooter used to be like that but he got used to it. I think my biggest mistake was NOT bringing him. Sadie just gets stressed from the moment she is in the car, she would rather be at home. She would rather be inside than in the backyard with Scooter, she is just a home body.

The next hike is this weekend, we are hiking to a lake on top of a mountain, it is really pretty.

Wow! So beautiful! Glad you all had fun! I've been itching to get out hiking too. We just got a retractable leash for Tuk and he loves it, can't wait to try it out on the trail!
