It's Oscar's first tropical storm, and he is as calm as can be.

Though his eyes are telling me, "Why can't I be outside mom? This is so boring!"

He's only been out twice thus far, for a quick potty.

My poor boy is laying down in front of the window just waiting for the whole thing to end.

Here in England we do not have "tropical" storms. However, the other evening we had a thunderstorm and Holly just lay on kitchen floor - pricking her ears up well before each thunderclap so I knew that was to come! I was concerned sthat she may not like it but I suppose when she lived in the kennels they just had to put up with it!

The worst part of the storm ended up coming late at night yesterday while Oscar was sleeping. Occasionally he would wake up with the sound of the howling wind and the rain pounding against our windows, and give out an under the breath woof. But he'd go back to sleep immediately. We've been getting thunderstorms here at least twice a week prior to this storm so he's kind of used to it.

He just wasn't fond of going outside to potty before bed. It was when the storm was picking up.

Oscar did not budge when we went outside, every little thing made him skittish and run to the door to come back inside.

Hopefully he'll never have to go through a real hurricane!
