Posted August 5, 200816 yr Oscar's puppy fuzz was removed when he was about 12 weeks old, but only from about his neck to his tail. The rest (head, belly, & legs) didn't seem to be ready. Now it's all very loose, and I'm slowly removing it all. Today I stripped his ears, he looks quite strange! I wanted to do his whole face and muzzle but my fingers we sore after just the ears, and it took a good 25 minutes. Well I took some pictures after having a good laugh at his funny face. August 5, 200816 yr Heehee! Oscar is such a cute happy dog! You did a great job on his ears. Did you do all that by hand? I've taken the top third off of Desta's ears twice since I've had her, but I always end up scissor trimming a tiny bit of fringe right around the edges that doesn't pull out so easily. Oscar's ears look really clean.
August 6, 200816 yr Author I did do it all by hand, which made it much more painful for me than for Oscar! I scissored his hair when it wasn't coming out once, but I found it too stressful. He couldn't stay still... His hair now came off fairly easily. It was the hairs that border his inner ear that were most difficult. That's when I resorted to latex gloves, helped me alot! <3Oscar

Thats what I do to Toby as well, on him the hair doesn't come out that good. Your little man looks so cute!
