Posted July 9, 200817 yr So, here's what I've found. The state of my manly figure goes in direct proportion to how often Kona can walk me. We walk a lot, especially in summer. We've been taking a 3 mile tour 6 days / week on average at a very brisk pace. Kona is a hard body and I'm fitting in my pants again. Now if I would only lay off the evening ice cream...... my body retains ice cream....... Greg and Val Perry Home of Kula RN CGC, Am. Can. Int'l. CH Cairngorm Coffee Tea or Me RA ME EE2/Can. July 9, 200817 yr Too Funny! I guess Kona needs to start putting you through the paces a little more often. If only we could monitor our diets like we monitor our furkids diets
July 9, 200817 yr I so agree, Angus has been on short walks because of his leg and we are both expanding. Whilst I've cut his evening biscuits out and put some of his food ration in a treat ball I haven't figured out how to cut back my own supper. Good job we are able to walk a bit further now.
July 9, 200817 yr Ya' know you're a dog lover when you eat unhealthy 25 cent hot dogs or 30 cent frozen burritos, so that the dog can have $2.00 a pound premium food. I can't wait for Desta to get over her heartworm so she can join the Corgi and I on our long morning walks again. Counting days...
July 9, 200817 yr Glad you're both is shape. When I read the title to this, I thought it was a spam and was ready to report it to Brad. <img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/maiwag/terriersiggy.jpg" border="0" class="linked-sig-image" /> Beth, mom to Ninja (5), Hannah (7), Abbey (7 1/2), Kiara (10)
July 10, 200817 yr Ahhhh yes...summer time! In the winter it's soooo cold along Lake Michigan that my walks are limited. Not to mention the pups end up covered in snow balls! Now this summer we are walking everyday...multiple times on my days off! I too am slimming down and so are my pups. Yesterday we went 4 miles on the beach - off leash so the pups got twice as much!
July 10, 200817 yr thats beyond funny -I think someones sneaking fat cells in our water . now lets get serios ok? really ,if we ran around our yards the way the dogs do we wouldnt have to worry about squeezing in walks. too bad my interests dont lie in squirrel and small rodent chasing.
