June 29, 200817 yr I think there was a similar forum posted on here...if you do a search you may be able to find it..... But for my two...I got Lily at 9 weeks and hers were up already. When she had a litter...one of the female's ears were up by 7 weeks...while my Bogarts weren't til about 10 weeks or so. I've also heard of people whose dogs didn't pop up for months. So it seems to all be different. Congrats on the new monster
June 29, 200817 yr I remember asking this very same question when we first got our pup. Bailey was one ear up and one ear down until about 8 months of age. I read somewhere that some dogs ears don't stand erect until after they're done loosing their baby teeth. I don't know if it's true or not, but it seemed to hold true in our experience. Now we miss the one ear up and one ear down look.
June 29, 200817 yr Puddles were fully erect at 8 weeks...And Iris's ears didnt stand up till 16 weeks. They even flip flopped for a few weeks afterwards. The one ear up and 1 ear down look was soo cute! I LOVE MY CAIRNS PUDDLES AND IRIS!
June 29, 200817 yr HI - New to the forum as I just picked up Rocki from his breeder two weeks ago. Rocki's ears were upright when we picked him out but his brother's were not. As you can see from the pic. Rocki needs to grow into his ears. Enjoy new puppy - they are so much fun and a lot of work!
June 30, 200817 yr Toby's ears where up by 10 weeks, then one fell down and then they where both fully up by around 12 weeks. Still at 6 months they look huge but I guess I have to wait until his coat now comes in after stripping. Give it some time, some go up faster then others and your pup is still really young!
July 1, 200817 yr Author Thnx for the help guys, some are early - some are late If a Man speaks in the Forest, and there is no Woman Present, is he Still Wrong ?????
