Mine loves the hose but not a sprinkler. She tries to bite the water. I am wondering if she would really like a baby pool (the hard plastic kind) to cool down or she might not even use it. Does anyone have one that your dog likes?

Ours have gone through several of them. Some of them love the pool and play, some of them won't have anything to do with it, and others just get in the water and stand there.

For some real fun, slice a hot dog into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices and throw them in the pool....

(and, of course, some dogs see the pools as GIANT chew toys, one of the reasons we've gone through several...)

My girls LOOOVE thier pool!

I LOVE MY CAIRNS PUDDLES AND IRIS!

My three love kiddie pools. In fact, let me see if I can dig up a slide I made of the water park my dd made for them.

one loves to stand it in... the other only loves to chase the water we spray out of the hose. i'm thinking the treats in the pool might be a fun idea to get the one that doesn't care for it in it.

Misty likes her little blowup pool too she walks in -lays down for a belly wet -takes a sip and jumps out! AHHH! just enough to cool down,

Ours loved the kiddie pool!

Mine love the lake....but just drink out of the kiddie pool we have for the labs

Cricket likes to splash around, go after things at the bottom of the pool and cool off her tootsies.

It is worth the 10$ or so.

My dogs like to chase each other around in the backyard and in the summer they get pretty hot and when they are done they head straight for the kiddie pool to cool off.

This should answer your question....

Even our visitors love the pool.

It was the best $10 I've spent. THey love it, Scooter even rolls in it. I throw a heavy rubber ball that sinks in there and they blow bubbles trying to get it. When I empty it (which I do alot so mosquitos do not breed and to put cold water in) they jump in it waiting for me to fill it.

I would definately get one, great way to keep them cool and they do not cost much...

Scully's always had a pool. In fact, we just came back from buying another one. I like PetSmart's pools for about $6.00 - they're the perfect size. We can't keep Scully out of it.

This is her after sticking her head underwater - she looks like a devil girl.
