Okay, I've told stories before about Packy being able to catch fish in our lake. He can catch them from shore, wading in a little ways and watching for them to come close enough to catch. He can catch them from the dock, leaning over and snatching them as they come up to the surface. He can even catch them while swimming. Yesterday though, he set the record. He caught 5 fish within about an hour! Two were caught from the dock and 3 were caught from shore. Two were "keepers" -- we could have fried them up for supper!

I know, I know. I've got to get this on video. I ran in to the house after fish #4 and got my camera, but I never could catch him in the act. I mean, he's like lightning when he ducks his head down to get one. He likes to drop them in really shallow water and then chase them around as they flop. Then he kills them. If they're really small (like minows), he eats them. Yesterday we had dead fish floating all over after he was done swimming.

We're going to Purina Farms next Saturday (5/10) for their All Terrier Fun Day and he's supposed to do Earthdog. He'll do great if they let us put fish in the cage instead of rats...or drag a fish at the end of the line for the Lure Racing.

Packy is one smart and lightening fast Cairn to be able to catch fish like that! You must make a video.

Packy is amazing! Obviously aspiring to have your own Koi pond is a risky enterprise for you-

If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito

Looks like Packy is not the only fishing cairn check out this post..........

Raise your expectations for what your Cairn can do....and try very hard to meet your Cairn's expectations of you.
