While shopping at PETCO the other day to get our dog and cat supply of Solid Gold pet food they were introducing a new holistic pet food called HALO. We bought 3 medium size cans of their wet food,

but no dry, just to see what it was like. Upon reading the label I was impressed with the ingredients so I opened a can and was very impressed with the look, texture and smell. (No I didn't taste it).

Zen thought it was great, but that's really not a test because anything he can get it in his mouth is great to him. Today I googled the company and found out that it is not a new company at all but

that they are now just expanding nationwide. Has anyone out their been feeding their Cairn HALO food? I think it is a good product and I am thinking of changing. Here is a link to one of their sites.

change is good. don't buy into the myth that dogs can thrive on one kind of food month after month. Balanced and complete is the biggest lie in the pet food industry.
