Wow, good job getting him back to the vet promptly. A vaccine reaction sounds scary. I expect he'll recover faster than you can believe, but I bet he looks miserable right now. Better days ahead!

Glad he is okay, poor guy. They can really scare us sometimes because they can't really tell us whats wrong. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Poor little puppy! Hope he is better real quick. They melt our hearts even more when they don't feel well and have something wrong. I would take the day off also to care for mine. Glad you are able to do this and I know he will appreciate mommy staying home with him! Get well quick!

Great response! You are a quick owner....parent....he is a lucky guy to have you looking out for him. Hope he is feeling better. Probably be ready for jumping by next week sometime.

Sorry to hear of Valentine's scary experience. Kudos to you for your quick response. Sometimes I think it's a good idea to stay at the vet's office for a while after vaccines to see if anything goes wrong right away, but you never know when it will happen. Hope Val is well soon!

When mine had Lepto vacine last Spring, my vet told me to make the appointment early so I could sit with them in the waiting room for 20 minutes after the shots. I think that vacine has a reputation for reactions, mine were fine though. Next time he has shots, you might split them up as much as possible with a couple of weeks inbetween, that's what I do, means more trips to the vets office, but I think it's safer. Also remind the vet, or be sure and tell any new one about the reaction, so they can take appropriate precautions.

Oh how awful for you and poor Valentine. I'm glad you were able to get him to your vet so soon....he does sound like an awesome veterinarian.

Give Valentine a hug from me and I hope he's feeling better soon. You are the best parents ever!!
