Wow.... how time flies. I cannot believe my little baby girl is 3 years old today.

She is still a spitfire, but she melts my heart.

I love the pond, is that in your yard? I have always wanted a pond like that but it gets so cold up here that I get worried.

yep, it's in my backyard. It's only 550 gallons. It really doesn't get cold enough here in Houston to even ice over the top.

Someone told me that the fish would hibernate in the weather. Think I might research it some more. I really want one!

We live in Pennsylvania and my brother and SIL have a koi pond. They have screening that goes over it for the winter and I believe a heater for the water (but I could be wrong about that). The koi go to the bottom and are fine for the winter. I can put you in touch with my SIL via email if you want to PM me.
