I saw the add a couple of weeks ago here in the U.K. too and thought it was a Cairn (I've got an old TV and old eyes and needed a closer look, so thanks for posting!)

Funnily enough - a couple of hours ago I ordered the vacuum cleaner they are advertising. Not because of the advert though, although Miele's good taste in selecting a breed of dog to highlight should not go unrewarded! (I hasten to add that my Cairns do not shed ... it is just that my Dyson is too darn heavy to lug around and the Miele got great reviews from Which, the UK equivalent of US Consumer Reports.)
