Hagar
Just had to share a special day. On Sept 15, 2005, I came home with a small thing about the size and color of a brick with feet, wearing a fur coat and weighing 3.3 pounds. Things haven't been the same around here since. Renny has grown into a handsome and wonderful little companion. He is even pretty well behaved "for a terrier". Hagar.

kjwarnold
Oh, you've hit that 2 year mark! That's about the time when Packy really started to settle down and become more well-behaved and mature. Yes, the vet said he was still a puppy, but he really started to show that all those obedience classes and practice we did paid off. He's three now and just a joy to have with us! Hagar
Thanks for the responses. Renny has actually "mellowed out" quite a bit, but he still manages to crack me up at least once a day. He's playful one minute, and the picture of dignity and innocence the next, but the "terrier" is always lurking just below the surface. I guess part of what makes him so special to me, is that I'm almost 65, and he is MY first dog. The previous dogs have actually "belonged" to other family members. The first was a Lhasa Apso that we got when our daughter was about 10 years old and was very much "her" dog. The second was a Toy Poodle who was mostly my late wife's dog. Renny on the other hand, has been totally my responsibility through all of the house training, chewing on everything, and all of the other phases of puppyhood, and I'm happy with the result. The folks on this forum have been very helpful in answering questions and solving problems along the way, so you deserve some of the credit. TNA
Isn't it great that we take advantage of celebrating the smallest of grandest locations when it comes to our precious Cairns. Tom and I do that all the time. However, Diggy is going on 18 months, and I don't think he'll ever be anything but a baby boy. And he makes his sister act that way as well. Great fun. Congrats on your milestone!
