I have been around dogs in heat and sometimes they can be upset and agitated. Does anyone know if there is anything that is known to help a female through her season more comfortably? Maybe some herbal or natural remedy?

I've been through seasons with four different bitches and none of them have ever acted anything but normal, so I would not assume that Izabella will turn into a she devil I understand some can be a little bit "cranky" and out of sorts though. Valerian is suppose to keep dogs calm, whether it works or not I don't know. I used it on one of my (male) dogs and did not notice a difference.
