Kathryn
Now I really do mean this: I want you to come to Minnesota and take pictures of my cairns, Allie and T-Bone! I simply can't figure out the camera, and I can't get them to sit for photos anyway. That one with the daisies is all-time adorable.
mrskti
please, please...dont eat the daisies!!!! Very sweet shot, love it. That's a scrapper pic!!! Quote Terry, mom of Dori and Ellie Mae
Fudgie
Very cute picture with the daisies! I don't think I'll ever be able to get Fudgie to sit still long enough for such a good picture! I have the good camera and all, but she is too busy! Like the water picture too. Looks like such a calm place to hang out (until a cairn shows up anyway !). Eliz222
Adorable pictures!!! We went to Kentucky Lake this weekend, but we forgot to take the camera. Scout "cursed out" a VERY big DEAD fish that was floating around. Finch got into the water, but only up to her chest.

Bekah
I'd like to sign Liddy up for a hallswell photo session, too! Beautiful photo, Harley almost looks too innocent to be a Cairn. And Sugar's coat is gorgeous. I love her color.

TNA
Liz, what is it that makes your photos so wonderful. I can try, and try, and try, and pose, and focus, and I can't even get a good enough photo to put anywhere. I tried for 2 hours to get pictures of Digger on his birthday last week, the only thing I got was a picture of their cookies. You have such beautiful fur kids...You should put together, or at least consider, doing a Cairn coffee table book. Ang.
hallswel
To answer a question how? I take dozens of photos to get just the right one. I will admit that I have taught my kids at a young age that the camera means cookies. I think that helps. I also know peanut butter in a mouth makes them lick...that makes a smile. I also have a wonderful husband that got me a great camera. I belong to Digital Photo online thing called DPchallenge, you can put your pictures in for the week then people tell you what you did wrong. I think I really learned alot from them. I have a better understanding of rule of thirds, depth of field and soft focus. Then I just experment. Lighting is the most difficult. Natural light makes the best pictures in my opinion. If only the judges could see my pictures and see just how nice my girls are....in the ring they sure don't behave. They are devils!
