Mom, I think we need a bigger bed.

Scout and Finch have "taken turns" sleeping on this bed. If one is on the bed, the other one is usually sleeping by the back door. Both spots are in the morning sun, of course!

For the past week, or so, they have been sleeping together. It's really cute! I finally got a picture of them together.

Yes, they sleep with their heads off the bed!

Pepper sleeps with his head off the bed (any bed! couch, pillow, whatever).

His other favorite spot is lying flat as a pancake on his side in the sun outside.

Your pictures are so neat! I love it when the dogs curl up together.

They are are so sweet ! Now, what amazes me is the table legs aren't chewed on.......I'm planning on new furniture when Toby hits maybe two years !

I just love them, they are sooo sweet.

Occasionally the girls lay together. They snuggle more at bedtime because they sleep together in one large crate.

Those are really cute pictures of Scout and Finch. My "girls" are so funny w/ the bed. Kiara and Abbey sleep together in a bed at night. They love to snuggle up. In the morning, Kiara prefers to be by herself in the breakfast room on a smaller bed. Hannah likes to come join Abbey in the bigger bed that Abbey and Kiara share at night. Is this getting confusing? Abbey doesn't like to be touching Hannah. She'll let out this short pitch bark, and I know that Abbey wants me to move Hannah over. I do and then both Abbey and Hannah continue w/ their morning nap, until Hannah stretches out. My dh laughs at how we have so many Cairns, yet I know each of their barks and what they mean.

BTW, I love your blog and plan to read more of it later when I have time.

How cute! We have a crib mattress for a dog bed for my German Shepherd, she has some mild incontinence so it is nice to have the waterproof thing, but the Cairns overtake it a lot of the time. They climb on even if Sydney is sleeping on it! She gets a little indignant at that point

Digger doesn't liked to be touched when he is sleeping. Its so sad when he goes to lay on the deck, and Jazz sneaks over and lays right next to him and puts her head on his rear. He makes a disgusted little noise, and gets up and moves. So....Jazz waits until he finds a new warm spot, and she lets him start to doze, and she sneaks over and does the same thing. By then he just gives up, and they fall to sleep. It's just adorable watching her follow him around.
