hallswel
First I hit up Michaels and Wal-Mart Next, I figured out how I wanted the picture Then added the Harley, Then added a name and cute little things Then stuck it in the frame I want to do one for Sugar, Rebel and Hammurabi but it will have to wait until I have more time Quote Liz Rebel, Hammurabi, Sugar, Dirty Harry, Paint, Duncan and Saffron
toomanypaws
Great job, Liz! You're doing better than me. I'm 2 yrs behind w/ my dd and have yet to scrapbook my cairns. I've bought way too many scrapbook supplies but just haven't found the time to scrap. I'm going to have to make a point to schedule it into my day. It really is something I find fun and relaxing. hallswel
Beth I can't keep up a scrapbook but I do like the picture idea. I can do just one page, farme it, hang it up then I'm done. I think it would make a cute gift for a friend... Quote Liz Rebel, Hammurabi, Sugar, Dirty Harry, Paint, Duncan and Saffron
Teri9672
very nice. I'm a scrapbook addict. I have an entire room dedicated to my hobby. Each of the girls have their own book and now I'm working on a combined book. Be careful.... this is an addicting hobby. http://twopeasinabucket.kaboose.com/pg.asp...yout_id=1068348
Scully'sMom
Liz, that's a terrific idea (consider it stolen!). I just bought a scrapbook for Scully and some stickers but it won't be anything like the work you guys do. Teri your work is amazing and I'd KILL to have that room for my crafting project. What a gorgeous place to do your work! Edited March 19, 2007 by Scully'sMom
mrskti
Liz, your page is darling, you could do a whole wall of your furkids!!! Good job!! Great subjects. Teri is right, it's addicting! I had to go buy a whole armoire to put all my crap in, and the guys that work for us made me a whole scrapping table, custom to my height. I also have a whole room for it.... I just bought a ton of stuff from a friend that went to computer scrapping instead, but i admit, i like the junk, so fun to shop for. I need to get busy and finish up some stuff when i get back home. AllAboutPetey
Liz - great job. So cute! Beth - I have 2 daughters (grown now) and I'm about 10 years behind, so I know the feeling. Teri - Oh wow. I am drooling. I'm so glad you posted pictures of your scrapbooking room, I'm about to re-do my office/craft room. Great, great, great storage ideas. I am jealous. chrissysb
Liz - The pics are beautiful! Teri - I am SOOOO jealous of your room. I have about three of the wheeled storage cases for my scrap booking stuff and they are bursting. Somehow I buy and buy but never have the time to scrap. When I think of all the money I've spent... Too bad we don't all live closer or we could have a "Scrap your Cairn" workshop.
Scully'sMom
Teri, in that large picture are those wooden shelves on the left hand side of the picture?
Eliz222
Adorable! Count me in as one that has lots of supplies for scrapbooking, but haven't even started yet!
Teri9672
Teri, in that large picture are those wooden shelves on the left hand side of the picture? found a super good deal from Pottery Barn on those wall mounted shelves. It is the Waynes wall system. I got them a few months ago while they were on clearance. The shelves in the closet are from Target. They are scrapbooking cubes. I do love my room and cropping pictures of my sweet girls. Even Topanga (our cat) has her own album. I'll have to snap a pic of the cute dog bone shapped frames I found at the $1.00 store. I covered them in scrapbook paper.
Darcy's Folks
I didn't think you could find a way to make that spunky picture of Harley any cuter.... but you did!!!!! You MUST enter that picture in some contests and calendar submissions. It would be plastered everywhere! Oh... and couldn't you just imagine seeing that picture on greeting cards????!!! I sure could!!!!!!!!! Quote Kate, Darcy & Bailey's mom
Tracy A.
I got a new 3in1 printer recently and now can scan some of the scrap books pages I've done for the boys. First let me say that I am a complete first-timer at this and my page are "passable" at best- I don't take the care or time that some of you do! This more or less started as a way to preserve the photos and document the story of the boys... Tracy A.
I've always wondered - how did you come up with their names? Thanks Joann- but I really do just coat everything in glue and slap it in, I seem to lack the patience for anything else. The story of how we named the boys.
