I saw Izzie on T.V

I got so excited this morning. I saw previews of the puppy bowl. The commercial was on MSNBC at 8am I think I woke the house up! Then I turned on animal planet and saw it again. I said that is IZZIE! I then explained to my husband that Izzie and his mum are on the Cairn terrier forum and Izzie got picked. Well I can't wait to watch it! Izzie's mom I just had to tell you.

Hey, did you know you can vote for your favorite in the Puppy Bowl? Go to the Animal Planet website and click on Puppy Bowl III, then there's a place to see the competitors. I voted for Izzie just now -- gotta vote for the Cairn, of course. :D

Yep, I voted for Izzie, not only for being a Cairn, but being the cutiest too!

I have to be honest. Having a dd who is obsessed w/ dogs, we've had the puppy bowl on for the past two years. Yes, we have more than on TV so that my dh can view the "real game", :D In the past, the puppy bowl has been "cute", but a bit boring. Now this year being one of our own, Izzie is going to be in it, I can just bet that this will be the best puppy bowl ever!

I voted for Izzie too!

I have my Tivo set to record it this afternoon. My cable company has it listed as being shown every 3 hours, starting at 2pm CT. I wonder if they are going to show the same segment all day long, or if they are showing different ones. They are all listed as Puppy Bowl III.

I watched Izzy in the PB III. It was boring except when she was on! I loved how she just layed down in the middle of the field and watched all the others play! It was hilarious!

She looks so much like Jack, it was cute to watch her! That Samoyed really took to her! I love when she "gave it back" to him....that was the best part of the whole show! He followed her around the whole time and she kept trying to get away from him.....so cute!

Very cute!!! I hope everyone gets a chance to watch it today. It will give you a good laugh!

I've been enjoying seeing Izzie! She's getting more time than I expected and she seems quite level-headed about those pushy Sammy's. Some great headshots too. What a treat to see a Cairn in the mix. I believe I saw a shaggy wheaten Cairn in one of the "dogs watching the puppy bowl" bits, too.

My dd has now been watching the Puppy Bowl for 1 1/2 hrs! She's actually talking to her friend right now as they watch it together over the phone. My above post, I meant to say we have more than one TV so dh can still watch real football  All I can say about Izzie is how calm she is (and cute! ). Everyone who doesn't know how wild, loud and crazy Cairns can get are going to think they're a calm, easygoing, gentle and quiet kind of dog.

Wasn't that cute? Fun too. Izzie is a doll. She sure did get some good head shots. Kramer was looking at me like what the heck you watching mom. Very cute, I see that you can order the video as well.

That is a cute photo of Dorie watching t.v

WOOF! Eli, here. Izzie ROCKS! I was actually on the couch between the Uprights, letting them pet me and I got to see her! I liked the way she exercised restraint, just watching the others, Until that dumb old samoyed jumped her and then Izzie laid him flat. Instant replay and all. That was SO COOL!

Izzie-baby: you are hot, hot HOT! What's your sign? Do you want to see my etchings?

Your loyal fan,

Eli

Eli--I'm glad you liked my moves! Who says a girl can't be tough!!

But that woman who feeds me says I'm not allowed out with boys yet. Especially now--something about being in heat. But all that should be over soon (I dunno what she means by that, but I have a feeling I should be nervous) and then I can go where I like -- well, as far as that leash will let me.

Woof! Woof!

My mom wants to say something now.

--Izzie

(Thanks for looking for my girl on the show! I could watch only an hour before I had to leave for work, so I'm looking forward to getting back to the Tivo tonight! I should suggest to Animal Planet that they do a single-breed "bowl"--how funny would that be to have a dozen Cairns frolicking! Probably better than the Basset Ramble that my friend took me to! And thanks for letting me "brag" a bit about my girl, that she was going to be on the show. She's my first dog, and I just love to tell the world about everything she does that makes me laugh!

I saw Izzie, I only turned on the puppy bowl for a minute and there she was, cute as can be! We could put Mia in the above photo of Dori, so unfortunately I won't get to watch much of it!

Well, I spoke too soon about Izzie being calm. She knows when she's had enough and proved she's a true terrier. As if we don't have enough Cairns in our house, my dd was screaming for Izzie! I can't blame her, Izzie is so cute. I believe they said she was 15 wks when this was recorded. Do you remember what her weight was?

We absolutely adored seeing Izzie in the Puppy Bowl! We have it on video tape for replay.

One of my favorites was when Izzie flattened that pesky little Pomeranian. And I'll

tell you what, for as pesky as that one Samoyed was being about following her

around, he got his in the end!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IZZIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

between Australia and the US, but I'd be happy to send you a copy

of my videotape. Just send me a PM with the addess.

If anyone else knows why this would be a bad idea please let me know.

Chase and Gus watched all day and barked at the Puppy Bowl.

We watched Izzie during half time...

Of course had to explain to dh why until he saw her..

My Rocky enjoyed watching the PBIII that was the only time he perked up.

Voted a few times behind the scene...

TooManyPaws:

One week before taping (which was back in October), Izzie weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

(I think I had to bring her in to the vet's that day to get her weighed so I could order her heartworm/flea meds)

I haven't weighed her in a while--think I'll do that tonight!

Greta & I watched the Puppy Bowl. We cheered for Izzie! Of course Greta wasn't really paying much attention, because one of our cats was meowing at us to help him over the baby gate, silly boy!

Izzie was so adorable on Puppy Bowl 3!! I think she was so well mannered-a perfect lady. It was so much fun to see someone that I recognized. I was yelling to my husband to come downstairs and watch Izzie. I can't imagine how excited you must have been as her mom to have watched this. Molly was so cute watching it-her tail was wagging- but then she started to bark when she thought the "dominant" dogs were getting carried away. She even hopped up on the window seat for a better look-it was really too cute.

Izzie was BY FAR the BEST LOOKING DOG!!!!! We tivo-ed it and watched about 30 minutes last night until we were so tired we couldn't stay up anymore. So we're looking forward to watching it in its entirety! My husband is amazingly interested in the puppy bowl this year because a CAIRN is on it!

REPRESENT IZZIE!!!!!!
