Izzy has a baby sister

Well as a family we talked it over and over and over some more.. lol.. and finally we decided to go ahead and get Izzy a little sis.

I found a great breeder (4 hours away) that had a litter of 5, three were already adopted and I chose from two sweet little girls. One was very very spunky and one was more apt to watch the excitement going on and just join in every once in a while. The breeder recommended the more shy one.. and really she's not that shy.. just not as "bitey" as the other one. So we made the 4 hour drive from our home and spent the day bringing our new baby home. She's a beautiful black brindle and we just love her to pieces. Mom was a cream and dad was a red. It's so neat to me how a litter can be full of different colors.

Izzy loves her too! She's so funny she wants to play with her every second of the day..but the puppy is so small I have to keep watch. I'll gate Izzy and her seperately for a while. They both have their own crates, of course.

Anyways I just wanted to introduce miss Ollie (short for Olivia) to the group!

and here she is with Izzy wishing Izzy would give up that bully stick. They go through those like crazy! I need to stock up on them!

Thanks Mom of Two, sorry don't know your name.. I know I read somewhere on the board that they are addictive little things, can't have just one, like potato chips, lol.

I have to stop at two though, no more room in the inn.

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Little Ollie is settling right in.. it's funny they act like littermates even though there is a pretty good size difference right now. Ollie can hold her own when they play. She's very sneaky too. She will go right behind Izzy and take whatever it is Izzy is chewing on at the moment and sneak it away from her, usually bullysticks. She has to have them all. Poor Izzy!

I can't imagine my days without these two now.. they just fit right into our life!
