bradl
If there are no new posts, or if you are unregistered, the gray cairn faces away from the posts. If there are new posts since your last visit, the bright blue cairn eagerly faces the new posts. The "new post" cairn will remain "on duty" for about an hour even if you have read the individual new posts. (Click on the "Mark all posts as read" link at the bottom of the front page if you have read all new posts and would like to force the post indicators to the no-new state.) The individual topic icons in the forum will accurately indicate whether or not you have read (or clicked on) each post. Registered members who are also members of the special group 'CTCA Member' will see these 'no-new/new' post icons for the private CTCA Club Matters section: and these on the actual CTCA subforums: CAIRNTALK: Questions?
