Hello!

Rocky joined our family August 3, at 4 months of age and he is currently 6 months old. He has an older brother by the name of Merlin. They get along fine Rocky has taken over all of the toys and Merlin is fine with this unless it is a new toy because Rocky can't decide if he wants his new toy or his brothers.

He is learning pretty quick still has accidents but for the most part does his business outside.

I just started to work last Monday but Dad is in and out of the house all day so he is the caregiver during the day. At night he is Mom's baby he has started out sleeping on the bed but the last few nights he has been sleeping in his kennel in the bedroom.

He has been a joy.

Welcome to our very friendly, informative and oft times, hilarious forum where you will find stories & pictures to make you smile, and opinions & answers to your queries.

I know what you mean about Rocky being a joy. I've waited 53 years before becoming a dog owner as I didn't think it was fair to own a dog and leave it on its own all day whilst we worked full- time. Due to health reasons I don't work now and as we had relocated to another city, was finding life very isolated. However, getting my Cairn, Fergus, 4 months ago has brought us so much joy. We go out walking at the park and beach for a couple of hours each morning, having lots of chats along the way to other dogs and their owners.

These little guys are real characters and as you say, a joy.

Hello pdaffodil family. I have found this site to be a blessing. Just when you think you may be the only dog owner in the world experiencing something, you will read a great post here. Also, this group puts a lighthearted twist on even the most frustrating dilemmas. It puts a smile on my face everyday. :)

Welcome! Count me in, I want to see photos too :D

Rhonda,Kramer & Angel Missy "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog". "It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are" Missy Rainbow Bridge Memorial
