Here's another picture I got this morning of the two boys. I'm going to meet them on Saturday and pick the one who will be coming home! I Don't know how I'm going to be able to pick, though!  I'll go back in 3 weeks from today to bring him home for good.

Pick the cute one :P Lordy the combined cuteness is overwhelming.

In all seriousness if given a choice I would pick the one that seems most confident and curious. They usually come right up and say, "Hello, let's go!"

It is going to be a difficult choice for sure! It would be so much easier to just take them both, but I don't know that either my wallet out my sanity could handle it! 😝

Brad, I'll take your advice to heart while I'm interacting with these little guys. Thanks!

Well, I finally got to meet the two boys yesterday. This one warmed up to me right away and wanted to play. I'm so excited to bring him home in a couple of weeks.

I chose a name as well... He will be called Beasley.

What a cutie!

According to babynames.com "The name Beasley means Bent Grass Clearing and is of English origin."

I'm not sure how that applies to Cairns. Could also mean "Cute, furry, whirlwind of a troublemaker"!

I'm gonna put my money on the second one... 😂

Well little Beasley I see you are starting off very well in your new home. No backing down from other (bigger) dogs for starters. And a certain look in the eye that only a cairn can give.

Good luck to you all in the wild and fun ride ahead!!

Thanks!  I can't wait to see how it goes when he meets my girlfriend's lab!

We're both excited for our adventures ahead!  He's been great so far, settles himself down in his crate for bed in less than five minutes like a champ and has only woken me up once each night to go out.  And he's definitely got a cairn attitude.  I've got a family of 3 javelina that have just taken up residence in the desert on my property outside of my block wall.  He growled, barked and let them know exactly what he thought of them being there!  Not that they paid him much attention!
