DogsSmarterThanMe
Dixie jumps onto our bed and rubs her head frantically against the pillows. Normal???
DogsSmarterThanMe
I’m worried about her potential Porto systemic shunt surgery not having worked. Her blood test was not good though she normal weight and very active
bradl
I wish I knew. Nearly all of our guys will do jump up and do the "snowplow" around the covers and bulldoze the pillows. So if it's that sort of thing, totally normal. I always thought (but do not know with any authority) that the head-pressing symptom of shunts would be more of a leaning into walls and corners or similar. But bloodwork being off would worry me too. Hopefully your vet can offer some clarity or reassurance! Quote CAIRNTALK: Questions?
