Nattie now has a JRT brother!

We adopted Billy (aka Billy Jack), a 7-year-old *mostly* JRT from the Humane Society last weekend.  Here he is, standing where no dog has stood before, on our porch windowsill.

He's a  handful but Nattie is really warming up to him.  Yesterday he "defended" her from a bigger dog at the dog park (a large female dog in the big dog section on the other side of a fence).  She now thinks Billy is her hero.

Interesting times ahead!

Terriers..gotta love them, no matter what package they come in. Always ready to defend, protect and be mush balls with their uprights.🥰 Good boy Billy for standing up for your sweetie.

Nattie must love having another hero to lead her around and watch out for her! And he is cute! And obviously - standing on that sill --  athletic. Jacks are the only dogs I know more wired than cairns - much better to find one a little older and more sensiible. Congrats!

Hello Billy and welcome. So glad there's a new friend and defender for Nattie. And a good looking "mostly Jack" fella as well. So happy for you all.

Billy thanks you for the warm welcome!  Nattie has already perked up a *lot* since he arrived - her eyes are sparkling and there's a bounce in her step again.  So it's been a win-win for everyone.  :)
