The meaning of being Focused

Sam I Am

Recommended Posts

We have owned two Cairns prior to owning Sam plus also two Scottish terriers. Not one of them has been as obsessed with furry critters like squirrels, rabbits mice, cats..etc as Sam is. When he has spotted one of these animals, nothing and I mean nothing will draw his attention from them. I swear I could throw a steak in front of him and he would ignore it, so focused on the job of catching and I am pretty sure not releasing! I really need to take up barn hunting or earth dog with him . He spent ages in the wood pile yesterday no doubt smelling mice and intent on catching one.

Here is Sam zeroing in on a squirrel in one of our trees and ignoring anything I say.
