Sam I Am
I am totally trained now...by Sam. He has done a wonderful job..better than anything I could have possibly accomplished training him....here are some of his amazing training tips. - When I want out even though I have gone potty already, if I drive the uprights crazy by clawing at the the door never giving up even though I get yelled at to stop it, they eventually cave and I get to go out and chase the tree rat. - When I whine ...really loud ... followed by the most pathetic sounds a Cairn can muster, I get them to take me for a walk when I want. - When in the morning upon waking and I am hungry for my breakfast, I sit on my mum, whining and using my paws to take the covers off. Works really well....well sometimes I do have to resort to jumping up and down on her or taking my bed and throwing it around the room...and of course whining. - What really gets to her is if I lie on the ground with my face planted between my legs looking like I am in a kennel waiting to be adopted...that’s the best trick as she can’t resist that for more than a few minutes. Then I get to go out again...or I get more treat So there it is...life with Sam.....don’t let your Cairns get wind of all of this. 2 3 Quote Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. - Anatole France Adventures with Sam &Rosie

Do a Webster search on the term "innate"! Everyone of those behaviors are part of the Chemistry of Cairn.

Too late, Maisie's already got these training tips down to a science. It's so funny reading about other cairn antics, it's so very close in comparison to our own.
